Chapter 35

Julius and Taylor stood on the veranda for a long time. The air was getting colder, with the wind blowing so hard that the woman's long hair moved over her mask. Taylor was naturally annoyed, so she smoothed her appearance and faced the party's direction to block out the wind.

"I think we should go in," the woman said. Her eyes gazed inside, where people were beginning to gather in one spot. It was like they were waiting for something big to happen. Taylor remembered that there was a stage in the center of the room. And it seemed like they were all headed there.

Julius turned around and looked where Taylor was looking. The guests moved like magnets, and Julius thought it was an excellent time to mingle again. After all, the air was also getting stale. Taylor was seen rubbing her exposed arms because of the dress the woman was wearing, which had a variation of thin and transparent fabric but was elegant at the same time.
