Chapter 49

"Damn it, Julius! You're making my stomach hurt!" cursed one of them. Everyone burst out laughing. Their loud voices filled the room. Even Jacob was on the verge of tears from laughing at Julius' words.

"You're still as embarrassing as ever, apparently," Jacob said while rubbing the corner of his eye. The man was still laughing, his face bright red. To them, Julius was still poor and had no pride. The man had nothing and acted shamefully. How could he say such things with a straight face? To Jacob, Julius looked like the lowest caste beggar in this building right now.

Julius looked around at the people who were still laughing at him. They all seemed content to insult Julius as if he was just trash that happened to be given life. Having nothing and only seeking pity. How could Julius casually show his face there?

Jacob shook his head, "If I were you, I would have buried my own face in the sand. You're just hitchhiking and begging to go to school, that's disgusting!"
