Episode 7

Ryan slowly opened his eyes and sat up. He stared around the room and couldn't spot Brian and his brother. “Where did they go..” He mumbled. Ryan tried laying back down but the rays from the sun was so blinding that he had to sit up back. 

“ I'm so hungry..” He said and stood up. He walked around a bit. He decided to head down and take a look around the house. The house was very old and pretty much empty. 

It seemed the house had been abandoned for a very long time. The back door suddenly opened and it was Brian and Blake. “ What are you doing ” Blake asked staring at him suspiciously. “Oh, I woke up and couldn't find you. Decided to take a walk around ” Ryan replied. 

“Oh, okay” Blake mumbled. “You should be careful about that. There are dangerous objects laying around everywhere ” Brian stated. Ryan gulped and turned back upstairs. 

The three reached the room and settled down. “Where did you both go ” Ryan asked after noticing the lads came in with bags. “We went shopping ” Brian replied brightly. Ryan stared at the bags and noticed the stocks were quite much. 

“Quit staring like we stole them. We paid for it” Blake said bluntly. “Oh, you did. How can you afford everything. It looks like it would cost a lot of money ” Ryan asked. “We work..a lot” Brian replied. 

“You work?. What type of work ” Ryan asked eagerly. “Enough with the questions. You should eat and be on your way already ” Blake replied. “Yeah...” Ryan mumbled. “You know you can stay here with us if you don't want the police to handle it” Brian stated. 

“Common Brian, we talked about this already ” Blake Opposed. “But he doesn't have anywhere to go!” Brian stated. “And what am I supposed to do about that. We were once like him and figured it out ourselves ” Blake ranted. 

Ryan watched as the brothers argued. “You don't have to cause a ruckus about it. I wasn't planning on staying anyway ” He stated. “See, even he is more reasonable than you!” Blake pointed out. “Ignore the bird brain Boy, I know you're scared and don't know what to do” Brian said. 

“ I'm fine. I'll think of something to do on my way ” Ryan said and stood up to leave. He picked his bag. “ you're leaving already?” Brian asked. “Yes. The earlier I leave the faster I can find my father ” Ryan replied. 

“But you haven't eaten anything ” Brian said. “ That's not much of an issue ” Ryan said with a smile. His stomach grumbled loudly as soon as he said that. Brian reached for the bag and handed him some bread and a bottle of milk. 

“You should eat it this morning ” He said. Ryan received it and thank him. He set out to leave the house. “ You probably don't know your way back to the city. And you need to avoid those men's house too” Brian said. Ryan nodded and they both left the house. 

They walked away from the house Slowly. Ryan stared back and could now have a better look at it. The house didn't seem too bad like it did on the inside. 

“ I'm sorry about my brother. He's just worried we won't be able to cope with you here” Brian said.

“ it's okay. I wasn't planning on staying. I still need to find my father” Brian replied. “Yeah, about that. How do you intend to find him now. You don't have his picture anymore and going to the police is not option too?” Brian asked. 

“ I don't know what to do yet. And I also will not ask the police for help” Ryan replied. “I see. You seem pretty keen on that” Brian stated. 

“Hey, if the police ends up sending me to an orphanage home. How do I get out?” Ryan asked. 

“If you can't cope there truly, A way will surely provide itself ” Brian replied. They reached a junction and stopped. “Alright, this is where I head back. You can see the city ahead already. Bye, avoid the police and stay safe!” Brian said and walked away. Ryan watched as he walked away and sighed. He headed down the road and went back into the city. 

Ryan walked around without even knowing where to go precisely. He soon came across the supermarket he stole the bread from. “What am I doing standing here. They're probably still searching for me” He said. 

He stared through the glass and his eyes soon caught up with the worker's, Noel. He instantly took off running as fast as he could. Noel dashed out of the Supermarket and started chasing after Ryan yelling at him to stop. 

Ryan stared back to see Noel chasing after him. He ran faster the more. “Stop right there. Somebody stop the thief!" Noel yelled as he chased after Ryan. 

Ryan, who's heart was throbbing very hard as he ran was getting tired. 

His pace was slowly decreasing and there was no corner he could use as a getaway this time. He was still running when he ran into someone and fell down. Ryan slowly looked up and his heart almost fell out through his mouth. 

It was the boss that had abducted him and two of his men were with him. “Well, well, well. What do we have here. If it isn't the Little magician” The boss said and grabbed Ryan. He quickly covered his mouth preventing him from yelling. 

“ I have a lot of things to ask you. You're going to tell me how you managed to get out of my house yesterday without any of us noticing ” He said and chuckled. Noel suddenly showed up panting heavily. 

“The thief. You caught the Thief” He said excitedly. The men all stared at him in Confusion. “What are you talking about?” The boss asked him. “Thank you so much for catching him. I'll hand him over to the police now” Noel said and tried to grab Ryan but the man wouldn't let him.

“What are you doing. I need to hand him over to the police!” Noel exclaimed.
