“Grandpa Nike, can I say something?”

The entire Nike family was silent at the moment. Almost everyone wanted to hear what this good for nothing son-in-law wants to say.

“Don't just waste my time.” Grandpa Nike was interested too, to know what Sebatian have to say.

Sebastian firmly said, “I promise I can help the company in the appropriate way, you don't need to listen to Brian's request.”

This live-in son-in-law spoke with certainty. Could it be that he indeed can help the Nike company from crisis?

Brian did not believe the promise Sebatian just made. He smiled coldly, and said, “How can you do that? You can't even help yourself, and you want to help others.”

Sebastian stretched his hand and pointed to himself. He then said, “I have enough money in my possession that can take the company out of crisis.”

At the moment, it was so shocking to everyone that they kept silent, and said nothing.

But after some time…

“You?” Cindy was surprised at first. She then held her belly, and broke into a burst of laughter.

Then, she she stopped laughing hard. She looked at grandpa Nike direction. “Grandpa, I thought this useless poor thing was just poor. But he's also very funny Grandpa.

Immediately after Cindy said that to Grandpa Nike, Romy and Jade laughed too. They all looked at Sebastian line they were looking at a fool.

Romy then said coldly, “How the hell will you produce such sum of money. You're just a live-in son-in-law.”

Jade also mocked Sebastian, “I told you earlier that it you have such sum of money, I'll call you dad.”

Luis became so furious with Sebastian, she stood up and said, “That's enough, enough with your jokes. Now go in there, and get your filthy things out!”

“Sebastian, there's no need for all these. You shouldn't act based on what you're not, it might lead you to trouble some day.” Juliana appeared worried. She thought that Sebastian was doing too much already.

All along, Juliana had never liked Brian, even when he decided to help the company from its crisis. Ever since Grandma Nike advised her to marry Sebastian, she had vowed never to divorce him.

Brian glanced at Sebastian casually. The minute he saw how Juliana still cared for him from her speech, he could not hide his frustration. He said, “Get out already, you can never do what I can do, so pack your things and leave. Go stay with your rich friends you do beg from.”

Immediately after Brian mocked Sebatian, it suddenly occurred to him that Brian must have gotten the two hundred million dollars from the investment funds meant for the company.

It was during the investor meeting at the Prime Enterprise that it was agreed that the manager for the funds department will be in charge of the investment funds. Even when Brian was thrown out of the meeting, it was still agreed that the investment funds will go to his department.

Sebatian was on his way out of the house when he looked straight at Brian. He said, “I promise you Brian, you'll definitely go bankrupt soon!”

Suddenly there was another round of laughter and mockery from members of the Nike family.

“You are also a magician?” Jade lied on the floor, laughing helplessly.

“He's everything he wishes to be, what a waste of a man.”

Sebastian was on his way out when he took out his old phone, and called Abigail. He requested for the latest statement of the investment funds within an hour.

Abigail in turn called the Brian who was in charge of the investment funds to forward the statement of the investment funds within an hour.

Immediately Brian received the call, he was so uncomfortable anymore. He said to himself, “Why this time, why now?”

Brian knew he was in trouble, because the statement of the investment won't be balanced. He had transferred two hundred million dollars to another account, which would reflect on the statement of the investment funds.

He wasn't ready to take back the cheque from the Nike family, he still cherish and relish the respect, and power given to him from the Nike family.

After some while, Abigail called Brian's number again.

“Brian, can you please forward the statement to me immediately, the President needs it.”

Brian was shivering already. He didn't know where else to look, or what to do.”

“Brian, are you okay, or is there something wrong?” Cindy noticed Brian being so uncomfortable all of a sudden.

Brian's eye kept twitching while looking at the people of the Nike family. All was about to go wrong for Brian.

After a while, the call from Abigail came yet again. Everyone present were wondering why Brian was getting so many call in a short moment.

“Brian, I'm going to forward this case to the President. He had requested for the statement of the investment funds, yet you're delaying it.”

“Please just give a little while.” Brian face was already sweaty. He thinks the worst is about to happen, he knows it will.

Immediately Abigail threatened to forward the case, she hung up, and called Sebatian's number. She explained to Sebastian how Brian was unable to forward the statement to her.

Grandpa noticed Brian's gesture too, he asked, “Brian, are you okay? You probably don't look fine.”

“Never mind grandpa Nike, it's just work and it issues. I will be outside now, please excuse me.” He went outside to reflect on what else to do.

On stepping outside, his phone rang yet again. He took a glance at who it was, and shivered the most.

“Brian, what have I been told? You can't forward the statement of the investment funds? Now listen, everything will be taken away from you, your account and properties will be seized, frozen and liquidated. You'd better hope nothing has happened to the investment funds.”

William Prime wasn't ready to joke around with Brian. He was ready to inflict pains in Brian if he had tempered with the investment funds.

Everything Brian was trying to do to make things go right a bit, was not working. Things are about to get worse for him, and he definitely knows that.

His phone beeped after a while, it was a message, not just one again, this time there were a series of messages on his phone coming in.

He had a look at the phone, as he reads every message coming into his phone. Suddenly, the phone in his hand fell off from him unconsciously, he had his head in his hand.

Hopelessly looking, he said, “The live-in son-in-law has just laid a powerful curse on me.”
