CHAPTER 127

"What?" Leonid asked, confused by what she had said.

He was asking about the flowers, but his wife was talking about a person. He hadn't heard the name Rose from her before. Has she made a new friend that he doesn't know about?

She was staring at him and at the flowers. Wondering what he had done wrong, he ruffled his hair in frustration. If she didn't like the flowers, she should as well tell him.

"I was asking about the flowers." He muttered with a questioning look on his face. "Who is Rose?"

She glanced at him. "She is a friend of mine; she will be visiting soon. You already met her twice."

"When?"

Leonid was sure that he hadn't met anyone bearing that name. If she was close to Amelia, he would have remembered her.

"At our wedding, she was my bridesmaid." Amelia replied. "Remember that lady that screamed at you for bumping into her at our engagement?"
