“What about Miss Adelia, sir? Isn't she whining?”

Dennis took a breath. “Se had a little whine, but not much. After I said we'd go out together on the weekend. Such persuasion worked for him.”

Tiara smiled a little. “You were serious about last night's plans.”

“You promised Adelia, Tiara.” Dennis wrinkled his nose.

“To be honest, I didn't really promise it to Miss Adelia. You invite. I just agreed.” Tiara corrected. Fixed how things happened that night.

Dennis raised his eyebrows while bringing his face closer to Tiara with his typical intimidating look. “So?” asked Dennis.

Tiara's heart was beating fast when Dennis' face was only inches away from hers. Tiara once again looked away with the girl's shy smile. She took a deep breath to calm her heartbeat. “Uhm.” Tiara nodded her head. “I can't wait for it, either. I mean, can't wait to go with Miss Adelia.”

“Only with Adelia? Aren't you looking forward to going with her father?” Dennis raised his eyebrows again.
