Hold the Prestige

At almost close time, Raymond entered the house. The man still in his slightly unkempt clothes – even more wrinkled than before – entered the house with a small whistle. Marks Raymond's day full of fun. He glanced at his wife.

Raymond greeted Jesselyn. “Honey, you haven't slept yet?” Raymond asked.

“My mother lives here again, Raymond.” Jesselyn instead said something else that didn't relate to his thoughts earlier. The woman was so full of purpose at first waiting for Raymond.

Raymond glanced at Jesselyn briefly. “Isn't that great?”

Jesselyn rolled her eyes. “Honey, you know how troublesome it is to be left here. It must have been because he had run out of money. Not to mention mom asking for things that don't matter. Mama is too crazy about money, honey.”

“Like you're didn’t do the same, Jesselyn.” Raymond's sarcasm came out again. He hadn't done that to Jesselyn in a long time. Now it's back out. “I'm tired. If you still want to wake up, go ahead!” said Raymond.
