Losing Almero

While Aldrich was feeling increasingly uncomfortable, he kept thinking about his beloved son. As a result, Aldrich immediately went to his room to retrieve the cell phone he had left there. Without further ado, he dialed Almero's number.

At the first call, Almero did not pick up. The pot-bellied man did not just give up, the man continued to contact his son. However, many times contacting him, Almero did not get any answer. Almero's number was active, but he didn't pick up. This added to the worries in Aldrich's mind. Negative hypotheses began to nestle in his mind.

"Al, pick up! Why won't you pick up Dad's phone," Aldrich muttered while tapping on his cell phone screen.

Unable to get an answer, Aldrich switched to calling his other subordinates and also his household assistant, neither of whom picked up the call at once. Irritated, Aldrich began stomping her foot as she ground her teeth.
