10. Aaron's Presence

Aaron immediately turned to the bodyguard beside him. "My brother is in danger! We must go to the security office immediately!"

"Yes, Young Master."

Aaron walked dashingly. Behind him was a bodyguard with a well-built body. He briefly sent a text message to someone.

Not long after, a man with a slightly fat stomach suddenly approached Aaroon. He was wearing a dark grey suit and a blue airport tie.

"Mr. Aaron Parker. I apologize for making you wait so long," said the man with a slightly fat belly in a very polite sentence.

The man was Desmond Woods, Longbay City Airport's operations director. He had a good relationship with Aaron Parker. A few years ago, Aaron helped him resolve a dispute with a person who secretly used his name for inappropriate things.

"That's fine, but I don't have much time left. I need you to take me to the VIP Lounge security office. My brother got into trouble there."

The stocky man furrowed his brows and watched the words that came out of Aaron's mouth. Just now, his partner said Aaron had a younger brother; why hadn't he heard about it. But that thought was quickly pushed aside. He didn't need to question.

"Well, sir, I'll take you there!" said Mr. Woods, then turned back to Aaron and asked again, "Young Master Parker, if I may know, is there a problem with your younger brother there?"

Aaron didn't answer. He immediately took out his cell phone and pressed the button, then let Mr Woods listen to the recorded conversation with Nigel. He was a typical man who would rather reveal evidence than just talk. Mr. Woods clearly recognized who the voice belonged to.

His face became grim, and he bit his lip and muttered, "This is how they act behind my back? This can't be allowed."

What John Graham had said was really unpleasant for him to hear. It made Mr Woods feel embarrassed in front of Aaron.

He bowed politely and said, "Sir, I, on behalf of the security, would like to apologize to you for how they treated your brother."

"Hmm, I don't have much time, take me there immediately!"

***

The three officers stood around Nigel, now sitting like a defendant. This time, the situation didn't make him as comfortable as if he were in an interrogation room.

"Where's your friend? Why is he so slow? Are you guys lying?" quipped John Graham.

Nigel just shrugged, "You just wait! Right now he's still giving you a chance to live it up and brag!"

"Damn you!" raged John Graham.

Then, the bald man beside him immediately embraced his commander. "Boss, it doesn't seem worth giving in to this kid's wishes. He just wants to buy time so we don't beat him up," Jeremy Lynch said.

"That's right, Boss. He deliberately wants to buy time, so we'll get annoyed and let him go," his colleague Mark Dawson said.

But John Graham just nodded. Then he raised his hand to the two of them and said, "Take it easy, we'll give them an extra five minutes. At the same time, you can prepare a security baton or other tools that can be used to teach this child a lesson for causing trouble here!"

John Graham's two henchmen nodded. They both looked at their watches to calculate the time. Occasionally, John Graham's two henchmen stomped their feet in impatience.

Finally, the time was running for four minutes and fifty seconds. That's when Mark and Jeremy counted down simultaneously.

"Ten ... nine ... eight ...." Together, they counted until it finally reached one, and that's when they cheered like children who heard the school bell.

"Since five minutes have passed and your friend hasn't come at all, then don't blame us for making a warning to you!" John Graham exclaimed with a sardonic smile.

The grim-faced man leaned towards his two henchmen and said, "I, as your commanding officer, will hit him first. After I give you three strikes, it will be your turn!"

"We understand!" replied the two henchmen simultaneously.

At that moment, John Graham grabbed Nigel's chin and lifted him up so their faces faced each other. He also pressed Nigel's cheeks together with his fat fingers.

"Let me see, will you still be able to boast after this?" John Graham taunted and then slapped Nigel's face.

Nigel gave him a sardonic glance and said, "You'll regret it soon enough!"

"Asshole! How dare you threaten me?" complained John Graham in a high tone. Then he clenched his fist and said, "You said you didn't know me. Now I'm going to show you who I really am, and how I can make you regret fighting me!"

"You're the one who should be sorry for harassing me, and the five minutes you wasted begging me for mercy!" Nigel retorted confidently.

Since he got his fortune back, Nigel's demeanour has changed. He became more confident in his actions. Now, he would not give an inch to anyone who underestimated him! Anyone who has insulted him will pay dearly.

John Graham could no longer control himself. He raised his clenched fist to punch Nigel in the face.

The two officers immediately grabbed Nigel's body and held him still. Nigel struggled because he wasn't sure if Aaron would make it in time. He had to save himself from getting his face smashed in by the greedy officers.

Just as the punch was about to land on Nigel's cheek, the door was rudely opened, startling all three. The two officers quickly released their grip on Nigel, and the bulldog-faced commander hid his clenched hands behind his back.

No one had noticed that Mr Desmond Woods had arrived with a well-dressed man and several burly bodyguards. No one knew who the man with Mr Woods was except Nigel, who was now smiling triumphantly.

Nigel breathed a sigh of relief at this, then glanced at Aaron. Just then, his brother winked to signal for silence first.

"What are you doing?" asked Mr. Woods sternly.

Instantly, the three officers looked awkward. They weren't sure they could successfully cover up their actions in the face of Mr Woods' sudden arrival.

"Quickly answer what did you do?" Mr. Woods repeated.

"Oh no... nothing, the two of us just did a little check on him. This young man told us that he entered the lounge by mistake," John Graham lied, his voice stammering as he said this.

Mr. Woods only smiled slightly at their statement. He looked at the three officers individually, then turned to Nigel.

"That's right sir, he shouldn't be here," John Graham replied again.

Mr. Woods nodded, then he turned to Aaron and said, "Sir, if you don't mind, could you play that voice one more time?"

Aaron smiled, "Of course. It's easy for me."

Aaron immediately took his cell phone and recorded the officer's threat to him again.
