"Welcome, Mr.Demian."

Two guards respectfully greeted a man in an expensive suit who had just gotten out of a car. It was their boss.

"Where is he?" Demian asked coldly.

"He's inside. He's been making so much noise that he's overwhelmed us."

"Why don't you just give him a lethal injection? Isn't he old?"

Niel listened silently. How unfortunate for the old lady who had to suffer kidnapping for refusing to be evacuated from the location where B&F Corporation wanted to carry out project construction. If she had not been stubborn, the old lady's fate would not have been as bad as it is now. That old lady just didn't know how terrible money and power are. These two things can make people lose their dignity and even their lives.

"Troublesome!" Demian threw away the remaining half of the cigar. He then reached out to the side, asking Niel to hand him the firearm. "I hate anything that hinders my work. Such a trivial matter still requires me to intervene. You're useless!"

"Mr, can't you just let that grandmother live?" asked Niel compassionately. Even so, he still handed over the weapon requested by Mr.Demian.

"Then you'll be the one to die in her place?" said Demian sarcastically. His sharp eyes were immediately fixed on Niel who seemed to want to protect. "Just so you know. I don't mind killing you at all. Want to try?"

"No thanks. I need to stay alive so I can serve you longer." Niel swallowed saliva. Once he said yes, his life would be lost. He knew very well that Mr.Demian never messed with his words.

Demian clucked. He was in a bad mood, plus a report had come in that the old lady who was currently being held captive had opened her voice to the media. The old lady said that the boss of B&F Corporation had acted arbitrarily by threatening and intimidating her. Also mentioned that the company refused to compensate for the land that they claimed was officially theirs. Hearing this, of course, Demian's emotions immediately overflowed. He then ordered the guards to immediately kidnap the grandmother and keep her in a secluded place.

"I don't know why people like to find trouble with me. Don't they ever read the news in the media?"

"She's just an old crone who was instigated by the opposing party, Mr.Demian. Obviously, she won't know who you are," Niel replied as he followed Mr.Demian into the ruined building.

"The opposing party?" One of Demian's eyebrows shot up. "So it wasn't purely the grandmother's own initiative?"

"From what I've heard, it was. And it's also very unlikely that there would be reporters suddenly covering if there wasn't a mastermind directing them."

"Oh, so someone wants to play games with me. Alright, I'll play along. I happen to be in a very bad mood. A little play is likely to cheer me up."

Niel nodded in understanding. He immediately contacted the special security group to arrange a strategy for Mr.Demian to play. After that Niel caught up with his boss who was now standing in front of the old lady whose hands and feet were tied with ropes.

"M-Mr., please let me go. I...I'm just being ordered around. I didn't really want to say anything bad about your company. Please forgive me. Please," she begged while crying. Her old body seemed to tremble between fear and pain.

"Who ordered you?" asked Demian as he pulled the trigger of the gun. He then pointed it at her head. "You better answer soon or I'll put a bullet in your head. You're tired of living, aren't you?"

"No, Mr. Please forgive me. Okay okay, I'll tell the truth. But please keep that gun away from me. I'm scared."

It's not Demian if he can be easily negotiated with. Regardless of the look of fear on her face, he kept the gun pointed at her head. Niel and the guards who witnessed this could only stand by and watch. How could they dare to disturb the anger of a famously cold-blooded and unforgiving Demian Stewart. Dare to offend him, it meant death. Game over.

"Last night two men came to visit my house. They then threatened to kill my grandson if I refused the orders they said. Because I was pressured, I couldn't help but obey and follow their directions. Then the next day journalists came to cover the news. Under their threats, I was forced to tell a lie. I was threatened, Mr. Please believe me!" explained the grandmother fearfully. Her wrinkled face looked deathly pale as the gun came closer to her head. "M-Mr, I've told you the truth. Can you keep this gun away from me? I'm... I'm scared."

Dor

Blood splashed on Demian's face after he shot the old lady in the head. He was silent for a while as he looked at the body that was floundering on the floor. Pity? Don't expect it. That kind of feeling would never be possible for Demian. Whether it was parents or children, if they dared to interfere with his business, they would be finished. There was no mercy.

"Mr, here," Niel said, handing Mr.Demian a handkerchief. The tail of her eyes glanced at the dead body of the grandmother with her head crushed. It was tragic. And this was the end for anyone who dared to provoke their boss. A horrible death.

"This grandmother is lucky to be able to breathe for so long after demonizing B&F Corporation. I count as kind, don't I?" asked Demian with a faint smile. Still not satisfied, he shot her in the head again until it was completely shattered. "I'm trying so hard to maintain the company's good name, she just goes around saying bad things. Even if it was done under someone's intimidation, I still can't accept it."

No one dared to speak up as Demian vented his frustration. Even Niel, who was his assistant, chose to remain silent. It's not a good thing to open your voice now. That was digging his own grave.

"Throw this corpse into the middle of the sea. Make sure none of the fish there starve!" Demian's order was undeniable.

"Yes, sir."

Demian turned around. Before that he wiped the tip of the weapon and kissed it. And that action always managed to make the guards who saw shudder in horror. Demian deliberately showed this with the aim that none of his people dared to resist. As a leader, Demian clearly must have authority. Other people must not see him as weak. Must submit to the orders and rules he makes.

"Let's go. I need to change my dirty clothes!"

"To a hotel or apartment?" asked Niel.

"Company." Demian stepped outside. He didn't care as her corpse was put into a sack and dragged past him. "Useless trash. It was good of the company to offer her a huge compensation, but she chose to die like this. What a fool!"

Niel quickly opened the car door and bowed as Mr.Demian got inside. Afterwards he informed the guards that their boss wanted to return to the company.

"What about Mr.Khiel?"

"Just finish him right away. After that you guys come see me. There's a gift to be sent to their company," Niel instructed. Without having to wait for orders from Mr.Demian, he already knew what to do.

"Alright. Any other orders?"

"Not for now. I'll let you know if Mr.Demian wants anything else."

"Okay. Then you'll have to excuse us."

Niel nodded. He got into the car and drove straight away towards the company along with a few guard cars behind.

Niel put his cell phone in his pants pocket after ending the call. After that, he approached his boss who had just come out of the bathroom."Mr.?"Demian didn't answer. He was focused on drying off and then putting on a shirt. Without having to ask, Demian could easily guess what Niel was going to say. If it wasn't about Dylan, it would be about someone who wanted to find trouble with him."The day after tomorrow, the shareholders want to hold a meeting. They're going to discuss Mr.Dylan joining the company." Niel cleared his throat softly. "Should it be allowed? Mr.Dylan doesn't have any experience. He'll just be a scapegoat for those greedy for money.""That's why God gave people brains. It's for thinking," Demian said casually. Casual on the outside, but he was actually angry. It looked like Dylan really had the guts to fight him. "What does that mean, Mr. I don't understand."There was a rough snort of breath after Niel spoke. What wrong has Niel done that you could hurt him?"Demian was indifferent. He was no longer surprised by Dylan's childish behavior."Mr. Dylan, please sit down," Niel said as he pulled out a chair. After that he stepped back, returning to stand beside his boss."Thank you, Niel. You sure are the best."Niel nodded. "Let's get straight to the point. I don't have time for all the silliness you want!" Demian said coldly, but with emphasis. Deliberately opening an opening for Dylan to join the B&F Corporation, of course he had mastered the terrain. And Demian had no intention of obstructing the wishes of the people who had teamed up with Katty, t

"Mr.Demian, there's Mr.Dylan outside. Should I let him come inside?" Niel asked his boss for his opinion. Demian didn't respond. He was focused on the laptop screen that was displaying an important video. The mega project he was working on was suddenly stopped for no apparent reason. The reason was cliché. He said Demian's professionalism needed to be questioned. "Ridiculous!" said Demian. "How long has this guy been in the business world? A Demian is not professional in his work. Is there anything funnier than this?"Niel didn't respond. What a stupid person who dared to mess with his boss. Especially now that his boss was in a bad mood since Mr.Dylan had officially joined B&F Corporation. That person could end up with something terrible. What a fool."Bring him in!" Demian ordered while closing the laptop screen. His hand moved to take a cigar from the pack. Niel responded. His secretary immediately lit a match and burned the end of his cigar. Of course, there was no reason why he had changed the location of the meeting. There was a specific purpose why he did that."Sorry, I'm afraid this meeting cannot continue. Excuse us!" Dylan entered the house with a sour face. His fight with Demian had put him in a bad mood all day. The man's arrogant attitude was like a burning ember."My son, are you home yet?"Katty, who was accompanying Morgan to watch television, immediately went over to Dylan who had just arrived home. Like a mother, she intended to hug him. But Dylan avoided her, taking a few steps back to keep his distance."Why, Dylan? Why are you avoiding me?" asked Katty, both surprised and confused. Her son didn't usually behave like this. What was wrong?"I've joined the B&F Corporation as per Mom's wishes." Dylan exhaled harshly. "From now on, Mom, don't get involved in anything anymore. Demian is very dangerous. I don't want you to get hurt.""So now you've joined the company?"This was very exciting news. For years, Katty had been waiting for her son to finish his educat

Katty stared longingly at the items scattered on the floor. She then walked over to her son who was standing on the balcony. "If you want to win against Demian, you have to be able to control your emotions. He is cunning. You can't beat him with anger. Understand?""What are you doing here?"Dylan was angry. He brushed off his mother's hand that was rubbing his back. "Don't treat me like a loser. I know how to deal with that asshole.""I never thought of you that way, dear. In fact, I've always felt proud that you finally realized and wanted to fight for your rights in this house." Katty looked out. The dark night sky made her mood dark when she wanted to talk about her stepdaughter. "All this time, we always kept quiet about Demian's mistreatment. Even when I was treated like dirt in this house, I still chose to accept it. But when it comes to your rights, I can't just keep quiet. Because you are also part of this family. You are Morgan Stewart's biological daughter, not a stranger."

"I don't agree. This plan is too risky to keep doing!"Dylan exclaimed out loud against Demian's plan. Although his position was only as an ordinary employee, he was allowed to participate in company meetings. Dylan got this privilege after the shareholders demanded it under the pretext of wanting to see whether Morgan Stewart's son was equally proud or not. And fortunately, Demian granted the request."Mr.Dylan, on what basis are you saying that the plan Mr.Demian presented will put B&F Corporation at risk?" Niel asked. This is not good. Mr.Dylan was too blatant in showing resistance. Niel was worried that this would make things heated if his boss took offense."Niel, I know you're not a fool. MCT Group is a company that has many partnerships with bandits. If our company gets into a dispute with them, they will automatically mobilize the bandits to terrorize!" Dylan replied. "Come on, you're people who are very experienced in business. Should I be the one to explain this kind of prob

"Dad, how are you?"There was no reaction from Demian when Gwen, his son, said hello. He remained focused on the laptop screen, busy checking his work. "Is my arrival a bother?" Gwen asked disappointedly. Five years abroad and only this morning's return to her homeland had left her with a deep sense of longing for her father. However, Gwen had to be satisfied with swallowing back the longing when she found her father's very cold response. Disappointed, but still trying to be patient. "This morning mom said you weren't feeling well. How are you doing now? Is it much better?""I'm busy. Don't talk too much," Demian said in a very flat tone. (Am I really like this because of the trauma of my mother's death? But how did Dylan know that? He wasn't even born when mom died. Am I mistaken?) Four days after his fight with Dylan, Demian hadn't shown up at home or at the company. His heart was too troubled, confused about what was really going on. Demian's body stiffened strongly. Suddenly a strange feeling rushed into his mind. Big brother? This wasn't the first time Dylan had called him that, but why did it feel different now? What was wrong? Couldn't it be because he felt sorry for him? "Big brother, is it okay if I call you this?" said Dylan again asking for permission. His defenses were weakening, and he realized death had arrived. "Ever since I understood that we were brothers, I've been hoping to be allowed to call you brother. Is this too whiny for a man of my stature?"Dylan's words were full of deep sadness. Unexpectedly, a clear liquid dripped from the corner of his eye, a sign of a hidden wound. With Dylan lying on the ground and his face bruised and bloody, he expressed his sadness accompanied by soft sobs. "I've waited so long for the moment to be able to talk to you as a brother, not as an enemy or someone you consider a stranger. Brother, I'm your younger brother, right?""Nonsense, don't try to make me think!"

It was unexpected that the person he trusted the most had the heart to form an alliance with someone he considered an enemy. Fortunately, Demian hadn't let Niel go earlier. Otherwise, their rottenness would definitely not have been exposed. "Do you realize how arrogant and greedy you are? What did my mother and I do wrong?
