Chapter 14

Rowan stopped walking and quickly looked back, staring at Alexander sharply. “Stop talking nonsense, Alexander!”

"I'm not lying!" Alexander raised his voice. “I will prove my words. I will look for the base of the dragons who attacked us!”

Alexander wasn't an obedient or rebellious child. He would listen to his parents' counsel if he thought it was good for him, but he frequently protests, especially when his father prevents him from doing something he enjoys and tells him not to return home late at night.

Apart from being stubborn and rebellious, Alexander didn't have much patience. He easily ran out of patience, and tonight he couldn't stop himself from confronting his father, who didn't believe in him.

“Where are you going to look for them? The world is wide. You just graduated from the academy three weeks ago, and you've only participated in hunting dragons in the forest twice," said Rowan. “Oh, I almost forgot; today you ran away from your team after saying that ridiculous thing.
