Chapter 18

Alexander didn't come down from the tree. Francis and Luca also remained standing under the tree. They were on alert against the bandits.

The eight bandits wouldn't stop attacking them until they were dead because they wanted Alexander's shoes, bag, bow and arrows. Then they also wanted to avenge their two friends who died because of the arrows shot by Alexander.

The bandits wouldn't let themselves die at the hands of Alexander, Francis, and Luca, whom they considered kids.

“They're back. They're done mourning," said Francis while holding the hilt of his sword tightly.

The eight big, tall, scary-looking bandits walked straight, and their sharp gazes were fixed on the three young men who had hurt their pride.

“They are angry with us.” Alexander chuckled. “Why are they angry? They definitely never thought their friend would die at the hands of a child.”
