Elizabeth adjusted the mask she wore, remembering the hat she wore so that no one could recognize her out there.

Elizabeth peeked behind the curtains with slow steps, ensuring no one was watching her.

"Looks like it's safe," Elizabeth muttered.

She checked the neighborhood once more, then exited her house after the taxi she had ordered had arrived.

"To Cambodia Street, sir. Black Swan Cafe." Elizabeth mentioned her destination, to which the taxi driver nodded.

The taxi started moving from slow to medium speed. There was no need to wait long. About 30 minutes into the trip, Elizabeth sat in one of the cafe chairs.

"Why is he taking so long? Did he make me wait on purpose?" Elizabeth snorted in annoyance. She glanced at the watch she was wearing, it was already 15 minutes past the promised time, but the person she was waiting for had yet to show up.

"CK, five more minutes, that man doesn't come. I'd better go." Elizabeth cursed the man who deliberately made her wait.
