"Xaviera? Don't lie, or I'll double your punishment!" Michael pushed the guard with his cane, and the man collapsed as he could no longer bear the weight of his badly injured body.

"I-I'm not lying, Sir. It was Mis-mistress Xaviera who ordered me to lie to Mr. Charles. She asked me to tell Lord Charles you are living here again." The guard was now sobbing and feared that his son would see him punished right before his eyes. He was afraid that his son would be depressed and his pain would become worse from seeing him like this.

"Is it true that Xaviera set you up, Charl?" Michael asked his grandson.

"From the CCTV footage I got, the men who hit me mentioned another name, not Aunt Xaviera," Charles replied. He looked at the guard with a sharp look in his eyes.

"Answer the truth! Don't lie! I already know who sent you, and now I need a confession! You can't lie to me!" Charles tried to intimidate the guard, but the man remained adamant that it was Xaviera, not anyone else.
