Jill’s Acting Skill

Carrie looked at Jill with gratitude shining in her eyes. "Are you a mechanic? I can't believe how kind you are to help me out like this."

Jill smiled warmly, hiding the unease bubbling beneath the surface. "Oh, no, I'm not a mechanic," she replied, her voice steady. "I'm a social worker who happens to have a knack for cars. And I believe in spreading kindness whenever I can, just as I've been taught in my religious community." She hoped her fabricated explanation sounded convincing enough.

Carrie nodded, impressed. "It is not usually every day to see a woman who is so qualified at this job. You do really well Jill."

Jill's heart missed a beat at Carrie's compliment, yet she mustered her bravery to remain calm.

"Thank you," she whispered. "My parents used to teach me this from when I was a child. It is deem good to have some practical skills."
