After the big transaction with Jill, Jack stepped out of the room with steady steps, leaving the quiet office atmosphere. In the waiting room, Jessica, who was previously preparing to go home, widened her eyes in surprise when she saw Jack arrive that evening. Their eyes met for a brief moment, and a questioning expression appeared on Jessica's face.

“Mr. Ashworth, sorry I didn't think you'd be back in the office, and it's already work time so…” Jessica trailed off when Jack approached, surprising her with his words.

Jack approached Jessica at a leisurely pace, taking off his suit jacket. "You can go home, Jess. I'll just be in the office for a moment," he said in a casual tone, indicating that Jessica could go home first and there was no need to apologize.

Jessica nodded, trying to disguise her discomfort with a smile. "Okay, Mr. Ashworth, um, I mean Mr. Harrison. Then, I'll go home." With a polite smile, Jessica left the office, leaving Jack sitting alone.
