Ashley sat beside Jack's bed, the room filled with tension hanging in the air. Her face reflected deep worry and infinite curiosity. "Jack," she said in a soft voice, trying to get to the heart of the series of questions that haunted her, "since taking you to the hospital, so many questions have haunted my mind. How did Diana Buchanan die? Who tried to drown you? And most disturbingly, how could Daniel Collins be involved in all this?"
