Chapter Eighty

In the aftermath of their victory over Mr. Smith and his men, Ryan, Turner, and Jessica sat together on the rooftop of their makeshift headquarters, the city lights twinkling like a million distant stars.

The air was crisp and clean, carrying with it the scent of victory and renewal.

"I can't believe it's over," Jessica murmured, her voice tinged with disbelief. "We did it."
