Wilson turned slowly to face the police and with crocodile tears in his eyes, he said, "My wife... My wife"

The police hurried and took him away from the car while carrying the victims into the ambulance.

Since he was a senior citizen in town who was respected by many, they did not have a reason to tag him a suspect of his own wife's death. Everything was merely viewed like an accident.

He returned home the next morning to find Amelia standing in front of the door waiting for him to walk in with her mum.

"Where is mum?" She asked immediately he entered but he was too weak to answer her.

He walked into his study and wept in silence for his late wife but he could not find the courage to announce to their daughter that she was dead.

She saw her mother leave the mansion and he thought that was the last memory she should have of her mother instead of dead.

As time went by, his daughter could not get over the trauma and it changed every part of her into something he could hardly recognize.
