Chapter Fifty four

Maxwell's eyes were fixed on Harrison as he spoke to him about his father. "Was he so hardworking like you said?" Maxwell asked with a bright smile on his face.

"Believe me he was" Harrison confirmed with a serious expression. "He would always make us work overtime when Wilson still owned a construction company" Harrison said.

Maxwell was so proud to listen to Harrison speak about his father in such honourable way.

His father had been his hero all his years and even though he watched him lay ill on the couch for years, it never erased the heroic image he had of his father.

"Was he a senior colleague?" Maxwell asked "You said he'll make you all work overtime for Wilson" he added.

"He was a senior colleague..He worked for years before most of us came in" Harrison replied.

"What then happened?" Maxwell asked in curiosity.

"I don't know for sure but he seemed to owe Wilson some money and he spent all his salary paying back but could not complete it before the company was closed" Harris
