"It's true then...." Maxwell said in a low voice.

"What is true?" Laurel whose face was already flushed red said trying to hide the fear in her eyes.

"It's true that those are not your reasons" Maxwell said staring intensely at her. "It could be for the pleasure or just the money or both" He said further.

Laurel seethed as she watched him talk about her immoral relationship with Wilson without any fear in his eyes.

"You'll be dead once Wilson finds out that you know about this" She threatened standing up the couch.

Maxwell chuckled at her words "On the contrary, I think you will be dead if he finds out that you told me about the intimate relationship between you two" Maxwell said in a low voice darting his eyes around the room.

"What.. I didn't tell you anything" Laurel exclaimed angrily.

"And you that he would believe that....well, as much as I know, he'll kill you first before proceeding to kill me and.... He may not still kill me for the sake of his beloved daughter who I am marrie
