Chapter Seventy seven.

Maxwell walked back to the ward where Karen and Carson where but he discovered that Karen was not there anymore.

Carson on the other hand was unconscious and could not have known where she went to.

It was too early to be out of the hospital and as a matter of fact, he had spent over an hour at the hospital gate before going to Amelia's ward but she had not pass them then.

He left the ward and ran towards the exit where he saw a can turning into the street. It was too far from him and he could not stop them at the moment.

He quickly went back to the ward and began to search for Carson's phone but it seemed like she had taken his phone with her too.

Maybe she was trying to run without leaving a trail.

How scared she must be.

Maxwell walked back to Amelia's ward and found the doctor attending to her.

He sat down at a corner watching when the doctor approached him.

"Mr Maxwell, have you been able to find sleep since the last time you complained?"
