Chapter Twenty Five

The Funeral.

Days had past but the Wilson's home kept becoming more unbearable for Maxwell.

The maltreatment he got from his supposed bride and father inlaw had increased and many times he would pray silently to be relieved of the pains.

He did literally everything for them in the house and had no time for himself at all.

Gradually, he was becoming a shadow of himself.

He looked more depressed by the day and it was beginning to affect his looks.

Amelia who he thought would become closer to him with time rather became farther away from me.

They both pretended to be close and inlove before Wilson but once he was not seen around, the hatred she had for him resurfaces making him crawl back into his shell like a turtle to avoid her sting.

She was always there to nag, order him around and make him do her laundry.

He felt like a helpless prisoner whose hope of freedom was lost.

The therapist funeral was going to be done and Wilson had told them to attend with him as a couple.
