Forty Five

Amelia walked up to Laurel in anger. She held tight to her folded fist, ready to pounce on Laurel at any opportunity.

"Why were you laughing?" She asked in anger.

Laurel stood staring at her in silence.

Maxwell glanced at Wilson who was still sitted at the spot unwilling to concern himself with whatever was going on with the ladies.

"Who do you think you are?" Amelia roared making Maxwell even more uncomfortable.

He stood up and walked towards them in the living room.

He cleared his throat and said "Laurel, I'm sure you never wanted to mock....my wife but you did anyways" He said glancing at Laurel and Amelia as he spoke.

"I think this is the best time to apologise" He said casting a long stare at Laurel.

Laurel glance at Wilson who sat at the dinning unwilling to say a word.

She snared at Amelia and Maxwell before muttering a quick apology. "I'm sorry" She said looking to the floor.
