The crowd stared at Andrew with mocking expressions.

“Is this kid serious? He’s claiming ownership of an entire mineral source. Is that even possible?” a man at the back scoffed, visibly irritated by Andrew’s bold statement.

But Andrew wasn’t lying. He had decoded the map of the Stellarite deposits, giving him a significant edge over every other miner. Purchasing the map for nearly $1 billion had been a calculated risk, and it was already paying off.

For Andrew, it was an investment that promised astronomical returns. The exclusive tickets to attend the auction alone had already generated half the amount he spent on the map. The potential profits from licensing the Stellarite usage manuals were expected to surpass his initial expenditure by more than a hundredfold.

Unlike others who poured money into creating the devices themselves, Andrew’s strategy was simple: earn from licensing fees. A mere 10% royalty on the devices’ output was enough to secure his position at the top.

Andrew had been framed; he never thought he would encounter such a situation. For someone who was always calculative, this took him completely by surprise. He hadn’t seen this coming. What was he going to tell the police? The fact that they had already been called suggested that someone was behind this. He had thought his uncle was his only rival, which left him on the unknown side. He didn’t know who he could suspect. Andrew sat in the interrogation room while a police officer stood opposite him, his hands were cuffed to the metal table. Across from him stood an officer, his arms crossed as he leaned against the wall, silently sizing up Andrew. “Tell us the truth,” the officer barked, “You killed your uncle, didn’t you?” Andrew leaned back in his chair. His piercing gaze met the officer’s, as he replied in a low tone, “I didn’t kill him.” The officer slammed his hands down on the table, causing the cuffs to rattle. “Don’t lie to me!” he shouted, his face which was mere inche

The following day, the clanking sound of keys echoed through the corridor as a guard approached Andrew's cell. He unlocked the door and motioned for him to follow. “You have a visitor,” the guard said gruffly. Andrew stood up, his expression calm but curious. As he was escorted to the visitation room, he couldn’t help but wonder who it might be. As soon as he entered, he saw Hannah as she stood behind the thick glass, her eyes red and swollen from crying. She held the phone to her ear, her hands trembling slightly as she waited for him to pick up his end. Andrew sat down, lifting the receiver. His gaze softened as he saw the pain etched on her face. “Hannah…” he began, his voice low but steady. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she struggled to form words. “Andrew, I’m so sorry… I can’t believe this is happening to you. I promise you, I’ll do everything in my power to get you out of here.” Andrew’s jaw tightened, and he leaned closer to the glass. “Hannah, listen to me. I

Andrew sat on the basketball court’s sidelines, in his orange prison uniform, a newspaper in hand. The distant sound of sneakers squeaking against the concrete and the bounce of the ball felt as the other inmates played a heated game.A smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he skimmed the headlines. His companies were recovering, stabilizing after his recent maneuvering from behind bars. Even in prison, his influence remained unshaken, he was a silent king in the prison, and nothing happened without his approval indirectly.A bulky young man approached, stopping just beside Andrew before leaning down to whisper in his ear.“Boss, I got the info on everyone like you asked.”Andrew lowered the newspaper slightly, his sharp gaze shifting to the side. "Good... uh..." He hesitated for a moment, trying to recall the young man’s name.“Fredrick, sir,” the man answered quickly.Andrew gave a curt nod, flipping the newspaper closed. “Right. Go on.”Fredrick swiftly pulled out a foldergh,

Andrew, Fredrick, and Taylor sat at a small station in the prison’s cyber café, a room filled with aging computers bolted to metal desks. Unlike the rest of the prison, where strict rules governed every move, the cyber café was a privilege for well-behaved inmates. It provided controlled access to basic services—emails, legal documents, and monitored job applications. But beneath the surface, everyone knew it could be exploited.Taylor adjusted his glasses, looking at the old computer monitor in front of him. “These computers are locked down. You can’t just browse the internet freely—they only allow access to approved sites, and every action is logged.”Fredrick frowned. “So they’re watching everything?”Taylor nodded. “Not exactly. A program monitors keystrokes, mouse movements, and open applications. If anything looks suspicious, it triggers an alarm.”Andrew smirked. “And let me guess—you know how to work around that?”Taylor chuckled. “Would you be asking me if I didn’t?"Taylor

Andrew gritted his teeth as the officers dragged him out of his cell and down the dimly lit corridor. The guards didn’t listen to his protests. They didn’t care. His wrists were cuffed tightly behind his back, and his body still ached from the fight with the masked intruder. But it didn’t matter—they had already made up their minds.A sharp blow landed on his ribs, forcing him to stumble forward.“I didn’t try to escape!” Andrew snapped, breathing heavily. The lead guard scoffed. “Yeah? Then explain why your cell was open in the middle of the night.”Andrew’s jaw clenched. He didn’t have an answer—not one they would believe, anyway. The guards dragged him into a small, windowless room—one of the prison’s disciplinary holding cells. One of them pushed him against the wall. A fist slammed into his stomach.Andrew coughed, his body felt the immense pain.“Tell us the truth,” another guard demanded. “Who helped you try to escape?”Andrew lifted his head, his sharp gaze locking onto the ma

Leon studied Andrew for a moment before letting out a small chuckle. “So, the infamous Andrew Everest, huh? I’ve heard of you.”Andrew raised an eyebrow. “Oh?”Leon nodded. “I have heard of you in the news, a college kid who built an empire from scratch. A billion-dollar conglomerate and you aren't up to thirty yet” He shook his head slightly. “People like you aren’t supposed to end up in places like this.”Andrew smirked. “Neither are people like you.”Leon shrugged. “Fair point.” His expression darkened. “I’ll help you, Andrew. But on one condition.”Andrew leaned forward slightly. “Name it.”Leon took a deep breath. “My grandmother. She’s the only family I have left. I took care of her for years, but since I got locked up, it’s been… difficult for her to survive.”Andrew listened carefully, his expression unreadable.Leon continued. “She’s old, and the money I saved up for her is long gone. The next morning, Andrew lay on his cot, staring at the ceiling. His mind was already made up. There was no other option, he was going to get out by all means. As he sat up, he looked around his cell one last time. It wouldn’t be home for much longer. The moment the guards opened the cell doors for morning roll call, Andrew walked over to Fredrick, Taylor, and Leon.“I’m escaping tonight.” They all turned to him, stunned.Taylor blinked. “You’re serious?”“My girlfriend has been kidnapped. If I stay here, she dies. I don’t have time to wait.” Andrew nodded. Fredrick folded his arms. “You do realize escaping a maximum-security prison is nearly impossible, right?”“Nearly impossible isn’t the same as impossible.” Andrew gave a small smirk.Leon leaned against the wall, studying him. “And you have a plan?”Andrew nodded. Taylor let out a slow whistle. “Let me guess—you need us to help.”“No. This

  • The Hidden Legacy; I Will Rise Through Every Pain    Finding Her 1

Hannah found herself in a warehouse, with dim yellow lights flickering from the ceiling. The air smelled of rust, gasoline, and cigarette smoke. Metal crates and wooden boxes were stacked carelessly around the space, some covered in dust, others with markings from overseas shipments.Several men in dark clothing stood near the entrance, their faces shadowed under their hoods. They were armed, their postures tense. A few rats scurried along the walls, their tiny claws scratching against the concrete. At the center of the warehouse, a man in his mid-twenties sat on a worn-out chair, smoking a cigarette. He had slicked-back black hair, sharp eyes, and a relaxed but dangerous posture. The burning tip of his cigarette glowed in the dim light, the smoke curling around his fingers. He exhaled slowly, his gaze settling on Hannah who was in front of him.One of the men near her grabbed the black sack covering her head and yanked it off. Hannah gasped for air, He exhaled slowly, his gaze settl

Andrew said quietly. She exhaled, arms tightening across her chest. “You could’ve come to me.”His voice cracked. “I didn’t think I had the right.”She blinked. The silence stretched long between them. Foreign delegates, dressed in their tailored suits, were spotted everywhere, while surveillance drones whirred overhead and guards, stationed at every archway, held polished rifles. The Shanghai skyline could be seen beyond the bulletproof windows. They had no idea what was coming. Now, Andrew walked straight toward the summit building—not as Li, not in disguise, but in his real face. Andrew, hadn’t slept in bed. He hadn’t spoken a word. He had knelt in the dirt of the KAIROS ruins the entire night, unmoving, blood dried on his knuckles, Hannah’s name burning behind his eyes. He waited. Hoped. Prayed. But she never came and something inside him broke. He rose slowly, eyes glowing like molten glass, and turned his back on the flattened crater. The guards at the eastern gate stepped forward.“Sir, this is a restricted—”He didn’t stop.“Identification or we will—”Andrew’s eyes flashed red.The air exploded as a telekinetic force blasted

“HANNAH!" Andrew bolted upright in the medbay bed, a deep cry ripping from his chest like it had been trapped inside for days. His voice echoed off the sterile white walls, bouncing into every crevice like a sound too full of grief to be contained. Cold sweat soaked his back. His chest heaved. The heart monitor spiked violently as he looked around, panicked, disoriented. She was gone. “No. No. No!” Andrew shoved off the covers. Wires snapped free as he yanked at the IV in his arm. Blood sprayed across his forearm and onto the white floor. It was messy, frantic—deliberate. He didn't care. He wanted the pain. The door burst open and it was Taylor. Behind him, Leon and Frederick rushed in, still in partial gear from the prior night’s field escape. “Andrew! You’re not supposed to—” “You should’ve left me there!” Andrew screamed. His voice cracked beneath the weight of everything he was holding back. “You should’ve let me die with her!” “Andrew, we had no choice—” “NO!”

Smoke filled the corridor behind them.“Hannah,” he said, the word barely leaving his throat. Then Wing 2 erupted next. Fire exploded through the vents. The ceiling cracked as the wall split, and an outer fragment blasted loose, collapsing the observation deck.“GO!” Taylor screamed.Leon grabbed Andrew’s shoulder, but Andrew shrugged him off.“She’s still in there!”“I know!” Taylor yelled. “But we can’t get to her from here—”“I’m not leaving her!”Andrew turned and ran toward the sealed entrance to Wing 3. But her eyes were alert, focused and sharp.Andrew stood nearby, watching her, unsure if he should speak. He finally stepped closer, a small folded cloth in his hand.“I know you hate me,” he said, voice low. “But I wanted to say—”She cut him off without looking at him. “Don’t. Just play your part.”He swallowed. “I wasn’t trying to—”“You already did enough. You lied about who you were. And now I’m risking my life for the same people who experimented on me. So no, Andrew.
