“Sarah?” He said to himself confusedly, “How was she able to text his smartwatch after the connection from outside had been disabled.

He tapped on the screen to open the full message. “Hey brother,” he could hear her voice in his head.

He smiled to himself, she had found a way to reach him. It gave him a lot of hope and motivation at the same time.

“Are you hanging in there well? Most especially, are you still alive? You can reply to me it is safe. No one can trace our interaction.”
