Chapter 40 - The Question

“Sarah, wait up.” Cephas called, running after her, “Stop! Wait a minute, I need to talk to you.” He yelled on top of his voice but she didn’t answer instead she got into her car.

He quickly got into the backseat with her before she put the car on central lock.

“Sarah,” her name came out more like a whisper.

“Why?” She demanded angrily.

She was boiling so hard. Since she had known Cephas, their parents have always tried to change everything about him.

When he was in highschool, they made him change his school so he could have more chances of going to a well recognized college. He agreed back then even when he didn’t like it.

“Why what?” He played dumb like he didn’t know what she was talking about.

“Why do you always let them decide for you? They keep screwing you over everytime and you never complain, why? It is annoying to see them do it to you. Trying to refuse will not kill you!”

“Because, I will always win, Sarah. No matter what they decide, I will always get what I want,” h
