Chapter 65 - Cephas gets into an accident

Tyla’s mom refused the ride he had offered them which made him a little uncomfortable. She knew him so well in their neighborhood. Everyone called him a puppet husband who did nothing but listen to his wife and attend to her every request.

Though Tyla’s mom never did that to his face, she had always been kind to him. He saw where Tyla had gotten her kind traits from. Even when his coworkers were bullying him she was the only one that ever showed him kindness.

When he was very broke only Tyla and her mom were the only nice ones to him, the security was against the poor. Even fellow poor men would treat each other with disdain and suck up to wealthy people.
