Logan balled his hands to fists. "What's my penalty?"

The system responded: [Penalty: Death]

Logan shut his eyes then took a deep breath. "Seems to me like the system wants to push me to my limits."

The Big Boss laughed. "That's understandable. If you defeat me, then you'll gain everything I've ever own. But if I defeat you, I'll kill you."

Logan decided he wasn't going to die— especially not like this.

"So all I have to do is beat you at chess and that's all?" Logan asked, making a move on the chess board.

"There are three challenges you must pass to defeat me," the Big Boss said. "This is just one of the challenges."
