Although she had only been using elemental runes so far, he had still been able to shrug off all the damage without much bother. And the damage was not exactly inconsiderable either. "You shut your mouth!" Rin yelled as she rushed in for a frontal slash that aimed to bisect the alpha Hunter. 'So she's sensitive about her brother huh?' Michael made the observation even as he effortlessly dodged her attacks before retaliating with a backhand that her sword flashed up to block. Successful as that was, it did nothing to mitigate the amount of force behind the blow. Rin was sent flying backwards where she righted herself in midair and kicked off towards him again. This guy was proving to be far more annoying than Olivia had expected. Despite the inability of his Organ Destroying Venom to kill her as he had envisioned, the assassin Shin had not relented in his attacks. In fact, if anything he had suddenly become more vicious with his attacks. To his credit Olivia would honestly acknowledge his mastery of the sword with what she had seen so far. He was fast and precise in his movements, and his strength was nothing to discard either. But more than anything else, Olivia had noticed that his mood was quite volatile. He had gone from sadistically happy to sickeningly cheerful right down to a frustrated murderous anger. The last one had come a few moments after his most dangerous ability had proved unable to affect her. As she performed a series of hops to avoid several streams of toxic petals, Olivia mentally estimated the distance between her and the assassin to be less than twenty meters. She could cross it without much difficulty to blitz the bastard, but doing so while avoiding these damn things would be all but impossible. She knew how smart this bastard was. There was no way he would not be able to tell what her plan was the moment she made that move. A mad dash in his direction, discounting any and every other thing would also allow her to reach him quickly enough. But that would only further increase the strain on her mind as she would undoubtedly suffer immense damage, which would be healed by her ability at the cost of more of her mind slipping out of her control. 'God I hate this so much! But it doesn't look like there's another way. Dodging these things isn't getting me any where. I'll just keep taking damage and healing until I lose it. Looks
