"That's surprisingly cooperative," Jade remarked with a little snark in her voice.

"You'd be surprised at just what it took to get her there," Lee murmured to himself.

Michael glanced over at him for a brief moment before returning his focus back to the matter at hand. "First of all, who sent you here and why?"

They already knew the suspected answer to those questions but further clarification was needed, especially in the case of Diana since she would have to prepare a documented report on the events of the whole issue. As the only present half of the supervisors' committee, it fell on her to maintain a steady line of connection between the Peace Program and the higher ups of the three main factions.
