The two halves of a cracked button fell to the ground, destroyed by the the tip of the silver sword that had been brought to an abrupt stop less than a centimeter from piercing the chest of the alpha Hunter. Michael's left hand was clenched tightly around the middle of the blade, preventing it from moving any further as he glared at the shorter assassin who simply grinned at him and ripped her sword from his grip. He let go the moment she did so to avoid her blade drawing blood and she leapt back to put some distance between them. 'What was that?' Michael wondered silently. Seconds before the hurricane of annihilation could erase her from existence, Rin focused all her aura into the silver sword. The rushing influx of energy caused the weapon to glow a brilliant amber shade and the assassin pointed her sword directly at the approaching storm of magic. Michael hummed in interest as he watched the wave of his Erasure magic that had been disintegrating everything in the courtyard suddenly start behaving strangely. Instead of destroying everything it touched, the magic began to draw back into itself in a funneling motion into a point beyond the courtyard. He jumped onto the low fence that marked the beginning of the now almost non existent hedge to get a better look at the situation. The attack came out of nowhere. One second she was mere seconds away from beheading her target for assassination, the next saw a mysterious sword-like weapon moving to impede her own slash. At first Rin had felt terribly insulted when she had extended her senses towards the Hunter as soon as he began moving to accurately detect when and where his block or counter was coming from. Since he had somehow managed to create a way to completely negate her ability's sealing power, Rin could definitely not risk this fight going on any longer than it already had. Two figures moved through the school, dashing over cars and scaling walls and buildings with incredible finesse and skill. As they blurred past a flickering streetlight, the white light caught both their faces for a short second. Both had Eastern origins based on their physical features, which was also exceptionally aesthetically pleasant though each differed in their own manner. One of them was a blonde, with snow white hair that fell around his face in a refreshingly bed-hair style. His face was quite handsome in a roguish manner that complemented the mischief and deviancy that lit his coal dark eyes. His lips were slightly drawn back in a perpetually sly smirk that seemed perfectly at home on his face. The other individual was more of a mixture of two different spectrums of attractiveness. The moment he plunged through the wall of the first building, Lee knew that things had gone drastically different from how he had hoped, at least what Ryusuke would have hoped. As soon as he touched down on the floor of the first corridor, Lee let his blood aura flare out as much as possible to suffuse the entire building. He scanned through each floor rapidly in search of even a trace of his alpha's residual energy. Or a lack of it more like, since Michael's ability did not tend to leave much behind. His scan came out negative much to Lee's annoyance. He quickly put aside his disappointment and disconcertion though and refocused his attention on the tracking Blood Magic spell that he had casted earlier. Of all the people Michael had ever expected to stop him from committing an act as murder, he never expected it to be Lee Shen. The single most bloodthirsty person Michael had ever met was currently preventing him from ending an assassin that had been sent to kill him. The sheer absurdity of the scenario was what actually stunned Micheal long enough for Lee to dash up to him, grab his collar and push him up against the wall of a nearby building. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" The white haired Asian growled as he held up his own leader by the scruff of the latter's shirt. The gray in Michael's eyes finally faded slowly and the crushing pressure in the area vanished as his energy was retracted back to himself. The expression of utter apathy on Michael's face soon disappeared and was replaced by a flat stare that shifted from the hand holding him up to the person the hand was connected to. "Have you finally lost it?" He asked slowly. "Don't give me that shit!"
