  A clear feminine voice resounded throughout the forest.

  Eight solid spikes of crystallized blood pierced through the airborne Chevy like needles through paper and impaled the ground and trees firmly to anchor the car in the air in an instant. The vehicle ended up being held up on its side less than two meters above the ground. Two more blood spikes ripped through the side of the car and Leva leapt out with Lisa in her arms. 

  Her appearance had changed quite noticeably from before. The pale skin of her arms up to her elbows had gained a red hue and a shiny texture not unlike hardened steel. Her fingernails had elongated into hard pointed claws and her palms now had strange holes in them.
