"Let's deal with that girl now," Justin said seriously.

"I'll handle her myself," Dim-Dim insisted. "Anyway, this is between me and her."

"Yeah, but I don't think so," Justin said. "I'd rather be involved in your plan."

"She'll be angry," Dim-Dim said. "She won't like being cornered."

Justin sighed. "Okay," he said. "What's your plan?"

After a moment of thought, Dim-Dim replied, "Hmm... I'll take her to a closed room—maybe my room—tie her to a chair, and ask her to stay away from my friends."

"That will only make her angrier," Justin said. But then he laughed. "I'm sure negotiating with her won't be easy, but I trust you."

So, with Justin's help, they brought Amma to Dim-Dim's room in the Venator apartment, tied her hands and feet to the chair, and removed all sharp objects from the room.

"Okay, now I'll go back to the hospital, and then you can talk to her," Justin said.

And after he left Dim-Dim's room, time resumed around them.

Amma blinked at Dim-Dim, slightly surprised, but even m

"I can't trust my hearing," Velicia said, looking at Dim-Dim with confusion. "Are you serious about your terrible idea?""What? I'm just suggesting my idea," Dim-Dim said. "I'm suggesting New York City because non-Safe City settlements are still bustling there and very easily accessible."Velicia shook her head, frustrated. "What I just heard was you intending to violate the Illicitor Code. And not just any code, but CODE NUMBER ONE! 'Do not lure monsters into a city full of innocents', remember?" Velicia's voice raised now. "They, the people of NYC, are innocent! Our actions would be like... murder. Maybe genocide! And you...""If we're careful, no one necessarily has to die, okay?" Dim-Dim tried to dismiss Velicia. But when he saw Miller considering his idea seriously, he felt guilty and turned to look at Velicia again. The girl was taking deep breaths, trying to gather patience."Listen, Vel! I think that is the right thing to do. That monster has already killed nearly 70% of the p

He opened his eyes to answer the call and then placed his phone to his ear.Only when he heard Edel's voice did he fully wake up."Dim-Dim, hi." Edel's voice sounded clear and light."Hi," Dim-Dim immediately adjusted his sitting position. He glanced at Justin, who was sound asleep on the sofa next to him, then looked at the wall clock. 2 AM. "How's the brain surgery?" Dim-Dim asked."Smooth," Edel replied. "Actually, the surgery was done yesterday, but I think I slept for a long time because of the anesthetic medication for surgery.""I'm glad you're okay," Dim-Dim said, feeling his heart melt. Xavera asked, while Clarinassa looked around with a smile and then said, "Today's mission reminds me of the day we were introduced to Type A monsters for the first time."Dim-Dim recalled that day. "The mission in Forks," he said."Oh no," said Icaros, from above Dim-Dim. He had just arrived and sat down on the plastic bench next to Dim-Dim. "The one in Forks was Damian's team. Our team was in West Virginia at the time, not too far from there.""Yeah, then we were told by the system that Damian's team was ordered

Dear, Dim-Dim, the greatest veterinarian in the world! (if not in my heart)Right now I'm in a city that is extremely remote on the border between Malaysia and Thailand. It's nice here. The air is humid and warm. The children here are quite friendly. Currently, it's Eid, so the adults are distributing food and money. I don't have much money (I think I'm broke!) so I treated them to ice cream. Look at our photo eating ice cream, isn't it sweet? I will return to France, to work and earn money to travel the world again. But I thought I'd visit you first before becoming a corporate slave again, for motivation. See you at your clinic! With love, Velicia.PS: I attached my phone number. By the time my letter arrives, I should be in your country! The letter arrived the next day, along with a piece of paper containing a phone number and a photo of a woman with curly red hair eating ice cream with five children who appear to be locals. They looked happy, so Dim-Dim felt a little jealous.Dim-D

There was a child who brought twelve of his cats to be injected for scabies, and there was a dog that slipped from the third floor and needed immediate surgery. The dog's case was so severe that Dim-Dim had to consult with his university professor. He was in the midst of this important meeting via Skype when a wealthy man arrived with a bodyguard.Billy barged in uninvited into Dim-Dim's workspace, startling Dim-Dim and Ron, who were deeply engaged in a discussion with the university professor."What's going on? You can't just barge in like this!" protested Ron, but Billy's bodyguard immediately pushed him aside, causing Billy to cough and bow."Are you the owner of this clinic?" Billy asked Dim-Dim."Yes, and who are you?" Dim-Dim asked. "We're busy here.""I'm engaged to one of the vete

"Alright. Thanks for tonight, buddy. I gotta head back and get some rest," Justin said.Afterwards, Dim-Dim escorted him to his luxury car parked outside the clinic.Once Justin had returned home, Dim-Dim looked at Ron, who was already snoring on the couch. Should I get involved or not?Dim-Dim hesitated. He knew he shouldn't interfere in Amaliah Parenze's affairs, but he detested guys who threatened women, and even more so those who threatened defenseless pets. He was still uncertain when Amma emerged from the bathroom, fragrant and surrounded by steam."The hot water works well, unlike in my apartment," she said with a small laugh. She picked up the sweater and pajama pants Dim-Dim had laid out for her, then went back into the bathroom to change. Returning in the sweater that fit her perfectly and with the pajama pants rolled up to fit, she wrapped her hair in a towel and took a seat across from Dim-Dim at the breakfast bar."Thanks for letting me use your bathroom. You're really kind," Amma said, pouring tea into her cup, taking a sip, and smiling. "Mmm... it smells great, and it's blue.
