"Wow, you look handsome," said Amma as the girl appeared in front of Dim-Dim's apartment door in the afternoon.

Dim-Dim awkwardly chuckled as he ran his fingers through his damp hair, overly gelled. "Yeah, we're meeting your grandfather, right? I have to look neat."

Amma stopped in front of Dim-Dim, placing her hands on both of his shoulders. She stared at Dim-Dim's eyes, their faces just inches apart.

"We're going to investigate my grandfather, right? We'll uncover the truth. I'll help you as best as I can," she said seriously, and Dim-Dim's heart instantly melted.

"But we'll be meeting your family. In my real form. I'm so nervous," Dim-Dim whispered. The truth of his words reflected in his vulnerable expression. "I want to meet him at my best. I want to show him my best side. I don't expect him to be impressed with me, but at least I hope he isn't worried that I'm the one with you now," Dim-Dim confessed honestly.

Amma smiled softly. "Well then, I'll pray for your success," she said
