Chapter 109

Simon Clarence jumped on his feet. He tried to balance his frame on his weak legs, but he was too weak to hold that position. He wanted to sit back down, but his wet pants were becoming all sticky. So, he couldn't do either. He decided to lean against the chair as though he was sitting and standing at the same time.

"My eyes can't be playing tricks on me." He muttered repeatedly as he tried to draw an inference. He didn't want to be too jumpy, yet he didn't want to take this lightly.

"Is this really Lord Theo? This is Lord Theo!" While he was asking the question, he was also trying to find an answer for it.

He didn't know which to do.

Why would Lord Theo call me? What have I done? Does Lord Theo have my number? I have been sending him emails all these while. Did he read my emails?
