Chapter 209

All the girls had returned to the tent. They couldn't tell how they got back there, but they were all seated on the rug, staring blankly into the space.

A couple of them had their minds wandering around the scene that had unfolded before Cory vanished into thin air. Things like these were only seen in the movies, but not only did they see it, but they felt it equally.

Some of them still didn't know what to believe at that moment. Some still thought it was an illusion. Some felt like they had been daydreaming, and none of those was right.

"He's not human." One of the girls finally found the boldness to say it.

A couple of the girls gazed at her and inspected her face to further analyze the reaction that inspired what the girl had just said.

No one gave a comment to what she had said. They looked away as though they didn't want to be part of the conversation.

"How did he do that?" Another person asked.

"How does he do it?" Someone had another way of putting the question.

There
