Chapter 219

The girls were left speechless at the sight of the scroll. A couple of them could tell at once that that was the scroll they had come to look for, yet they were not entirely certain. They could be wrong or right since they haven't seen it before.

They didn't want to be too forward, so they remained glued to that spot for a while. Some of them had pointed their fingers at the scroll, which was still hanging in the air right at the level of Cory's face.

"Isn't that the ---" One of the girls was trying to make the words, but she indeliberately trailed off.

"From where did you get it?"

"How did you know that we were looking for it?"

A couple of the girls had a lot of questions to ask yet were not able to address the most important question directly.

"Perhaps you don't understand my question." Cory bounced back, bringing the scroll down a little but to the level of his neck.

"Allow me to ask again, then." He took two steps forward. "Is this what you are looking for?" He repeated.
