I stared at the screen.

This was the perfect time to actually get Mr. Heron and Mrs Spoisen under my trap and they were so foolish not to know that a dog does not park where it does not belong… they're now on my property.

"Bennets, what is the update?" I asked Bennets.

"Well, Drison, we might be having a little problem." He said to me and I turned to look at him.

"A problem? And what would that be?" I asked him because this was definitely the first time he got to tell me that there's a problem on the ground.

"They have laid an ambush and death trap for any Chaosen representative." He said to me and the only person I could think about was Carina.

Her safety mattered too.

No matter how I wanted to get my revenge.

She was my daughter and maybe I was overstepping my boundaries by putting her out there, where her life will be risked.
