Chapter 03 - To Lose a Child

Nelson’s heart Broke that instant!

  Ah! He wanted to scream in pain - That moment!

  The shame and disgrace was all over his face.

  "My God mother used to say; If you don't like how the moon looks overnight... Get a ladder and fix it, but clearly I am not worthy of your love because I can't afford you a room, same room you would rather used to cheat on me with!" Nelson said with really reddened eyes.

  "You need to leave now Nelson, we all know Broncos's father owns the Freaking club." The guards at the club said as they carried Nelson out, instructing him to leave now while he could before Broncos recovers and comes for him as Carina walked towards him with tears in her eyes that Dril couldn't understand.

  "Stop in those dirty steps! Let's all take a look at the idiot awarded as the face of the university being the core reason why our prom party have been ruined!" Broncos said as Camera's pointed right towards Nelson making him as the evil person.

  "You work here yet you punched the face that feeds you." Broncos said as he walked towards Nelson pouring his red wine over his head in return.

  "It's... You bite the fingers that fed you!" Nelson brilliantly corrects him causing the crowd to laugh before Broncos returns punches back at Nelson.

  "Stop it!" Carina tries to intervene only to be thrown to the floor but she manages to cover Nelson Body as she receives the kicks and punches from Broncos.

  "Hahaha! Poor carina protecting her poor bestie, how iconic, you're no superwoman!" Elice smocks before adding to the chaos by pouring her whine over carina too, hence Nelson noticed something was weird.

  He rolls over pushing Carina away from him.

  "Hold him up!" Broncos orders the bouncers and as soon as they do, Nelson looks at their faces again... They weren't the bouncers he used to know here at the club.

  "Where is the stupid Manager!?" Broncos yelled as Nelson manager pulled out from nowhere only to receive a slap from Broncos.

  "Tell me why is this disease is working in this place?" Broncos asked in rage pointing at a weak Nelson who had studied that something absurd was about to happen seeing that the unknown bouncers were also carrying lethal weapons on themselves.

  He watched carefully through the crowd seeing a man walking suspiciously towards Elice Walton with a Gun pointed towards her direction while they focused on humiliating him whom the bouncers had even left at the moment.

  "I want him fired this instant!" Broncos ordered as Nelson escapes the scene confirming that Elice's life was now in danger, so he took the little time he had left, rushing through the crowd which followed him with their cameras as he covered Elice.

  "Bpa!" The sound of a Gunshot is released! And many more are fired at Nelson who protects Elice as Broncos and everyone else run off to save their lives.

  The real club bouncers bursted out from another room, apparently they were beaten and locked up in a soundproof Room, meaning the bouncers around them were criminals but placed by who?

  The criminals, hoping they had killed Elice, decided to fPheebs immediately as Carina rushed towards Nelson who had been shot.

  "Nelson!" Carina screams in trauma, watching as blood rushes out from his mouth, with Elice watching in shock as Nelson’s blood soaked her white prom dress into a thick red.

  "Elice Please Don't leave me, I love you so much!" Nelson cries before Broncos kicks his hand away as he hurries up with Elice who fled for her life as well.

  "He got shot trying to save you, please help me take him to a hospital, Please." Carina begged but their bodyguards threw her off from their sight as she held onto Nelson blood drenched clothes.

  "Nelson! Stay with me! Don't you dare sPheebsp!" Carina cried as she supported him in standing whilst his head laid over her shoulders as she literally went through carrying his weight till they reached the hospital where the doctors received him from her but she noticed that he had fainted as well.

  This immediately scares her as she feared he was dead and then began to panic immediately for him.

  "Nelson... Please wake up, Don't die... I beg of you, they're Many things I wish to tell you... I have been such a coward, my Nelson please forgive me, I should have confessed!... God please help him, he is the only friend I have!" Carina cries holding his hand as she kneels in tears with the doctor walking in.

  "Please dear, we need to commence immediate surgery to remove the bullets from his back, you can stand outside if you wish to watch." The doctor orders as Carina gives him a peck before walking out to watch the doctors who began operation.

  "Why have you always Neglected me Nelson... look at you! Lying in a bed half dead, why do you reject me, look what those bastards have done to you! Aren't you tasty for vengeance? Haven't you faced and had enough of these pains yet?" A voice growled in Nelson mind as he stayed unconscious.

  "I don't want to be the demon my father trained me to become... I have repented because whoever catches water with a basket lives to suffer, same is it with the butterfly that compares itself with a pigeon...You're the evil me that I so much hate... Just let me die!" Nelson said in his mind and silence followed.

  "Fool! He trained you to fight! to be your own warrior! To build your legacy, the world is a wicked place, choose me! Damn it!" The demonic voices growls at him as he stayed unconscious.

  "Doctor Pheebs! He is dying!" The assistive doctor informs the doctor operating on his back.

  "Issues?" The doctor immediately asked.

  "One! SCA! Cardiac Arrests." Another surgeon responds as they carefully turn Nelson over.

  "Increase Defibrillator frequency!" Doctor Pheebs orders.

  "Ready in one - two - three!" The doctor responds as he places it over Nelson causing his chests to jump into the air with Carina's hand over her head in fear.

  "Current diagnosis?" The doctor asked the other doctor who immediately monitored his blood pressure.

  "Excess Blood Loss, There's no hope, there's no donor." The female assistive doctor adds.

  "There's One." The doctor said as they all turned back to look at Carina who stared back in tears as she nodded a yes to them since she heard the entire operation and was willing to give her blood.
