Ivan's hand jerked as a bullet hit his shoulder, his gun clattering to the floor.

Alex stood with his gun smoking, having fired the shot just in time to save Victoria's father.

At the same moment, many people in the room were already drawing their handguns, especially the military general and their bodyguards.

This caused James, Sophia’s classmate, and the other non-military people to look fearful as suddenly many handguns were aimed at Ivan Romanov.

As Alex kept his gun on his back, everyone followed suit and returned to their seats, hiding their guns once again.

Victoria was already in shock, wondering if this was a wedding venue or a cowboy bar, with more than half the people here carrying guns.

"Arrest him," Alex commanded, his voice icy. "No one is above the law, not even nobles. Make sure to check him thoroughly."

Keaton's guards swiftly moved in, securing Ivan Romanov and taking him away.

Alex sighed and looked at Sophia. "Any other problems?" he asked.

"No," Victoria added.
