Alex glanced at the trio, his eyes filled with frustration.

"Have you ever heard that if you give a man a place to step back on, you will have a better life? Can you just pretend you don't see me here?"

Rosemary pressed on, her voice dripping with malice. "I want to see you getting kicked out of here. I will even record a video when you are getting kicked out and post it on the internet!"

Nicholas barked at the waiter, "What are you waiting for? Go call your manager. Do you want to get fired?"

The waiter looked at Alex with a face not knowing what to do.

"They demand a manager. Just go call your manager here," Alex said. The waiter, like receiving a command, hurriedly went to find his manager.

Jasmine yelped, "I want to see how you get out of this problem!"

"You know what?" Alex said, his tone calm. "It's very easy. I've had enough of eating here, so it's time for me to leave. You can have fun talking to the manager while I’m going out."

As Alex walked out of the restaurant, Nicholas
