"Arthur Sharp," Ava sighed, her voice heavy with concern as she was on the front seat car. "Are you sure my uncle is trying to kill us?"

Alex glanced at her beautiful face and replied, "I’m not really sure of anything right now, but I am certain there’s a traitor in your family who wants you both dead. It just so happens that the people trying to kill you are your uncle's men. So he is the biggest suspect unless there is someone else in your family who hates you."

Eva, sitting in the back seat, protested. "All of the Sharp family has been kind to us. We’ve never hurt each other."

"Whatever," Alex focused on the road as the car headed back to the hotel. "You can keep believing that and get yourselves killed. Or you can start being wary of everything from now on."

Ava and Eva knew his words were true.
