"Anybody home?" someone called early in the morning.

Merly was just waking up when she heard someone knocking on her door.

"Miss Merly, are you home?"

"Yes," she yelled from the bedroom. "Just wait."

She tried to dry her clothes, glancing at Ugor, still asleep like a pig beside her. She walked out and opened the door.

The man looked to be in his thirties, with bushy eyebrows and a furrowed brow looking at her and inside the house.

She knew what it meant: "Disgusting."

Merly knew that ever since she started living with Ugor, everything had turned into a disaster.

He was so dirty, never cleaned the house, and all their stuff was decaying. It was just like a pigsty.

"My boss wants to meet you," the man said. "Do you have time today?"

"Your boss?" Merly asked. "But I have to go to work today."

"We will pay you for your time," the man said.
