Miles walked briskly into the school compound while holding his cross bag firmly. He was a few minutes late to class.

He paused along the walkway as he spotted Ms. Kendra walking in the opposite direction. He would've avoided her, but then the class was important and of course, missing it was the last thing he wanted.

"Good thing I saw you here... I was on my way to your class. See me in my office," She said to him and walked away without waiting for him to say anything.

Miles briefly sighed as he watched her leave. What the fuck does she want from him? He wondered, but shrugged it off and proceeded to her office.

He knocked on the door to her office when he arrived, and she ushered him in.

Miles pushed the door open slightly and peeked in to find her seated behind her desk as usual. He briefly sighed and finally walked inside fully.

"You asked to see me, ma'am," He announced his presence, and she raised her gaze from the desktop she was focused on.
