140: Trial

The following day, Benjamin Price was wheeled into the court gallery by a police officer.

His sons were as well present with the lawyer they had hired to defend him. While Avery,

Triple M was already in the dock, ready to testify against Benjamin Price and plead guilty to his murder attempt.

"Where is the victim?" The judge looked around, expecting to see Liam but he couldn't find him. Even his place on the left dock was empty.

"He has business to take care of," Avery provided, making sure her voice was firm and bold.

"Upon knowing we have a trial?" Asked the judge, because he was confused at this. He thought Liam would be present.

"He's the victim after all, he's not here but we can still communicate with him while he's away," Avery opened the laptop on the chair beside her.

Her face spread into a small smile as she popped some buttons on the keyboard. It seemed as though she already knew what she was doing.
