164: Threat

Samuel Roderick's eyelids fluttered until they finally flickered open and the first his eyes registered was a darkness.

Help! His voice was rough when he bellowed this word at the top of his lungs. He tried to move, yet it seemed as though he was tied to a wooden chair. His neck also hurt because he had spent hours sleeping on his side.

"Someone get me out of here! I've been kidnapped," he yelled once more.

"Oh my..fuck! Am I blind or something? Did I lose my sight?" He could not even pull his hands to touch his eyes because his hands were tied at his back to the chair.

Suddenly, he heard footsteps moving above him, and his brain immediately registered that he was in a dark basement.

The door creaked open a few seconds later and a torch light was flashed in his face.

"Who are you, what are you trying to do to me?"

The response was a grunt and it instilled even more fear in Samuel Roderick.

Thankfully he wasn't blind, he knew that through the torch light that was pointed at him earlie
