"Our plan was unsuccessful," Hunter dropped this when Gibson joined them at the table.

"It's all your fault," Charlotte lashed out.

"Now you're accusing me?" Hunter stared at her with total disbelief.

"You could've devised another plan when you were told about the men in black suits," she gritted out.

There was this butler who seemed to be lingering on their table more than normal.

"Get out," Charlotte snapped, with impatience.

"S-s-sorry, miss," he apologized and bowed his head before hurrying out of the bedroom with his tray.

"No one called to inform me about them," Hunter continued right after the butler shut the door.

"Guess they were beaten to a pulp before they could even pick up their phones," Charlotte picked up her glass of wine and slurped it in one gulp.

"I know it's all Avery Duffer, she works for the CIA after all," Hunter's face immediately contorted in anger.

"She needs to be taught a lesson," Charlotte growled, not even hiding her hatred for the young woman.
