21: Genius Liam

Liam woke up by late morning, the following day.

He found himself on his bed, shirtless, and with a bandage wrapped around the arm he got shot.

There was still that burning pain but he couldn't feel the tiny hot weight of the bullet anymore. It had been removed.

Avery was in the room instead of Gibson, she had her back to him as if she was up to something.

"What are you doing?" He questioned and immediately Avery wheeled around to face him.

"Here, drink up," she handed him some painkillers and a glass of water.

Liam downed the painkillers meds in one gulp and as he returned the bottle to Avery, he couldn't fail to notice the way her eyes raked at his upper bare body.

He couldn't recall the last time someone stared at him that way.

Feeling a bit embarrassed because it felt foreign, he rose to his feet to get a shirt and Avery upon sensing this, went to his wardrobe and got him what he wanted.
