53: Bonding
"What was your twin like?"

"Emily? She was the sweetest thing in the world."

"And she died before you knew about our father?"

"Yes, she had cardiovascular disease. We lived together in a small room and I worked tooth to nail just to provide her with drugs."

Just as Liam had promised, he was wheeling Beatrice outside her ward because she couldn't walk. The nurses came with a wheelchair at his order and helped put Beatrice in it. None of them could make any protest that Charlotte Price disapproved of it.

"Do you miss her?" Beatrice raised her head to see the look on Liam's face when she popped this question.

"There's been no day I haven't thought about her. We shared the same womb and grew up together. Our mom died when we were six so we took care of ourselves alone," Liam felt a stab of pain at this and sadness stirred up in his eyes for a few seconds.

"That's grievous," Beatrice cast a pitiful glance at her stepbrother, "Arthur and Georgie annoy the hell out of me. We're all in a love
